  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • pinch salt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup homemade buttermilk*
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • *In a one cup measurement add one tablespoon of white vinegar then fill the cup with whole milk and let sit for 5-10 minutes. Stir to combine before using.:
  • MASCARPONE CREAM FROSTING:
  • 1 1/2 cups whole/ heavy or whipping cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone
  • 1/4 cup Nutella
  • TOPPING:
  • 6 Baci Perugina Chocolates
