  • 1 Freshly crushed black pepper
  • 0.25 cup sake
  • 0.25 cup light soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp agave nectar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 fresh ginger 1-inch piece thinly sliced
  • 3 clove large garlic peeled
  • 1 tsp tapioca starch or cornstarch diluted with 2 Tbsps. water
  • 2 tbsp grapeseed oil
  • 2 lbs flank steak (often labeled “London broil”)
