- FOR THE CARAMEL ICING:
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (1/2 stick)
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2/3 cup powdered sugar , sifted
- small handful pecans , crumbled
