- 3 Cups all-purpose flour
- 6 ounces unsalted butter (1 1/2 sticks), cold and cut into cubes
- 1/4 Teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 4-6 Tablespoons water
- Simple Marinara:
- 1/4 onion, chopped fine
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil (approx.)
- Salt and pepper
- Pinch of red pepper flake (optional)
- 28 ounces crushed tomatoes.
- 1 large eggplant, cubed and roasted
- 8-10 ounces mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil, minced
- 1 egg (for forming)
- Parmesan cheese, for dusting
