- 1/2 sweet onion, diced small
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 4-6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Frozen/prepared pie crust or puff pastry for topping
- 1 egg, beaten
