- 1.5 cups sour curd
- 3 cups water
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
- 1 generous pinch asafoetida
- 1 to 1.5 teaspoon salt
- 8 tablespoon gram flour
- For onion pakora:
- 1 cup thinly sliced onions
- 1 cup besan
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
- ½ teaspoon carom seeds
- ⅔ to ¾ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup water
- mustard oil
- For kadhi:
- ⅓ cup chopped onions
- 1 tablespoon chopped ginger
- ¾ to 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 8 to 10 fenugreek seeds
- 2 green chillies
- 2 dry red chillies
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 generous pinch asafoetida
- 8 to 10 curry leaves
- 2 tablespoons mustard oil
