- 200 grams kamal kakdi
- 1.5 cups water
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 cup besan
- 1 green chilli
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- ¼ teaspoon red chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon garam masala powder
- ¼ teaspoon coriander powder
- salt as required
- 1 pinch of asafoetida
- oil for deep frying,
- to make kamal kakdi kofta gravy:
- 235 grams tomatoes
- 120 grams onions
- 9 grams garlic
- enough water for blanching
- 4 tablespoons oil
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 pinch of asafoetida
- salt
- 2.5 cups water
- ¼ teaspoon garam masala powder
- 2 to 3 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
- 2 tablespoons milk or cream
