- 1 large egg yolk
- 2 tbsp ice water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) very cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes
- FRUIT TART:
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp corn starch
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 mango, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch thick slices
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, tops removed and halved lengthwise
- 1 cup raspberries
- 2 kiwi fruits, peeled, halved lengthwise, and cut into 1/4-inch slices
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup apricot preserves (or jam)
