- 1 teaspoon yeast (active dry)
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup + 1/2 tablespoon lukewarm water (divided)
- TOMATO SAUCE:
- 1 1/4 cups tomatoes (skinned roma or san marzano including sauce)*
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 5-8 leaves fresh basil chopped
- TOPPING:
- 5-8 slices mozzarella cheese (firm)**
