- FOR THE MEATBALLS:
- 1/4 cup blanched almond flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 pounds 93% lean ground turkey
- 1 large egg
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
- 24 ounces jarred prepared tomato-based pasta sauce*
- For serving: Zucchini noodles

- 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 small onion
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 1 can diced tomatoes (I like to use fire roasted for extra flavor)
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
