  • 1 Cup Sweetener (maple syrup, honey, agave, rice syrup, etc)
  • 1-2 Cups dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, cherries, etc)
  • 1 Teaspoon cinnamon (always a good idea)
  • 1 Teaspoon salt (necessary)
  • Up two 2 Teaspoons of other spices (cardamom, ginger, allspice, nutmeg, etc.)
  • Various seeds (poppy seeds, sesame seeds, flax seeds...)
  • Up to 2 Teaspoons vanilla extract
