Ingredients (20)
- 1 large Florida tomato, sliced to preferred thickness and seasoned with salt and pepper
- 1 cup pimento cheese dip (see recipe)
- 4 slices of bread (your favorite)
- Unsalted butter for cooking, softened
- 1 or 2 pinches seasoning blend (your favorite)
- Pimento Cheese Dip
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 8 ounces low-fat cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup low-fat mayonnaise
- 4 ounces pimento, drained and diced small
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped fine
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Hot sauce to taste
- Sea salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
