Ingredients (10)

• 1 9-inch pie dough
• 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
• ⅔ cup Lyle’s Golden Syrup* , or other high quality golden syrup
• ⅔ cup dark brown sugar
• 3 eggs
• 2-3 tablespoons bourbon , optional
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• Pinch of kosher salt
• 1 1/2 cups raw pecan halves , plus 1 cup for spiral topping if desired
• Maldon sea salt , for serving
