Turkey Pot Pie

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage
  • 2 small celery stalks chopped
  • 5 ounces frozen mixed vegetables
  • 2 1/4 cups turkey or chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon chicken or turkey bouillon
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 cups small-diced leftover cooked turkey breast skin removed*
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 prepared pie crust - dairy free if needed (I used my favorite whole wheat pie crust )
  • 1 large egg beaten
