  • Russet potatoes, scrubbed and sliced thinly (I usually assume about 1.5 potatoes per person.  If you have leftovers, no big deal.)
  • Frying oil (peanut or canola is good)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • You can go crazy on spices, but I like mine pretty simple
